3. So Lonely

YFN Key2Fly confirms that the top is as lonely as hell.

Do you know what’s funny? “So Lonely” might be the simplest track on this project; however, I felt it in my soul the most. In it, YFN Key2Fly talks about being focused on chasing his dream while ignoring all the naysayers judging him from the nosebleeds. I love the track’s slow-burning, easygoing production and how Key2Fly uses a laid-back rap style that fits perfectly with his carefree mentality. All in all, this track is definitely on some real s**t.

2. More Than Friends

YFN Key2Fly shows off his vocal skills in “More Than Friends.”

“More Than Friends” delves into the connection YFN Key2Fly shares with his main chick. For every moment he highlights her loyalty and support, he counters with bars dedicated to showing her love and passion in the bedroom. The track features a hypnotic R&B-hop beat that I think fans of sultry, late-night vibes will appreciate. Over this smooth production, Key2Fly effortlessly balances a chill delivery with bursts of elevated passion, adding layers to his performance. All in all, I am thoroughly impressed by this track.

1. Down In Tears

“Where I’m from, it gets dangerous.”

In “Down In Tears,” YFN Key2Fly opens up about the traumas that accompany his lifestyle. Throughout the track, he reflects on the friends he has lost, the difficulty of trusting others, and the constant need to be prepared for conflict. He also touches on his relationship with God, which helps him maintain hope amidst the struggles. What stands out most is the hook, which carries a blend of raw passion and an intoxicating melody. Additionally, his emotionally charged melodic raps pair seamlessly with the thrilling trap beat that drives the song.
