JT Drops First 2025 Single “Ran Out,” Delivering a Fiery Anthem

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

JT kicks ass in her songs.

After making waves with her solo debut, City Cinderella, JT has been relatively quiet—until now. On Friday, she returned with “Ran Out,” her first official single of 2025. Prior to this, her last release was “OKAY (Remix)” with Jeezy. While it’s unclear if this marks the beginning of a new album rollout, it’s certainly a strong start if that’s the case.

As expected, “Ran Out” is pure “crash out” energy. Powered by a booming, hard-hitting beat, the track pushes speakers to their limits while JT delivers a confident, unbothered flow. Her infectious chorus gives off strong Trina vibes, while her lyrics boast about her money, body, and unfazed attitude toward her enemies. The song is a high-energy banger that’s tailor-made for fans of bossed-up, icy rap anthems.

JT has an old soul. I like how she tries to channel her inner Jeezy a lot.
