On “Close The Door,” MoneyBagg Yo steps into a more melodic space, showcasing his versatility with gentle, melodic raps. Backed by an emotional and hard-hitting beat, the track reflects his gritty past, with lyrics that delve into his struggles, street mentality, and reflections on loyalty and love. Although he delivers a smooth hook, some of his self-incriminating lyrics made me cringe.
