Jack Harlow & Doja Cat Heat Up the Airwaves with Steamy New Single “Just Us”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Do they allow flirting in restaurant kitchens now?

Jack Harlow and Doja Cat have teamed up for a brand-new single, “Just Us,” a track that effortlessly blends hip-hop, pop, and R&B. Given their history of crafting genre-blurring hits—some of which have surpassed a billion streams—it’s no surprise that their collaboration feels like a natural pairing.

In “Just Us,” the duo exchanges flirtatious and explicit verses, vividly detailing their desire to get tossed like some pizza dough in public. The track leans heavily into smooth, Drake-like R&B production (I’m pretty sure the production samples a song that Tory Lanez created in which he sampled a song), yet both artists bring raw energy to their performances. Doja Cat dominates with her sharp delivery and spicy confidence, while Harlow’s bars are shakier than a rollercoaster ride that hasn’t been serviced in a while, relying on playful but questionable punchlines. He at least sounds cool, though.

Despite some uneven moments, “Just Us” is a fun collaboration that highlights both artists’ strengths in blending mainstream appeal with provocative storytelling.

You can tell there’s a significant age difference between Jack Harlow and Doja Cat…
