Cerdarious Delivers a Focused and Compelling Performance on New Single “A D”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Cerdarious goes prime AD in “A D” (I’m talking 2020 Anthony Davis).

Artists like Cerdarious deserve admiration. Coming from Compton, CA, a city he describes as unforgiving, he has managed to carve out his own lane, a testament to his resilience and determination. At the same time, Compton’s influence is evident in his music—he raps with conviction and confidence, creating a sound that is both powerful and authentic.

One of the first tracks that put Cerdarious on my radar was “Dream Work Freestyle”—and trust me, he killed it. He’s also made waves with standout singles like “Flooded,” “F M F U,” and “Can’t Explain.” Now, he returns with his latest release, the fantastic “A D.”

On “A D,” Cerdarious sounds hella focused, rapping about the relentless grind required to cover his bills, gas, and even relationships. Despite the pressures, he keeps his eyes on the prize, proving that perseverance is key to overcoming life’s challenges.

The track is backed by a jazz-infused beat with an effortless groove that earns a chef’s kiss. Cerdarious seamlessly shifts between emotions—unbothered, determined, and competitive—all while maintaining a steady and engaging flow. The hook is especially strong—catchy, empowering, and memorable. All in all, “A D” is a well-rounded and impactful track that showcases Cerdarious at his best.
