Rich The Kid Stunts with Murda Beatz on New Single “Wake Em Up”

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Who said Americans and Canadians couldn’t get along?

Canadian super-producer Murda Beatz is back with a fresh banger, teaming up with Rich The Kid for his latest single, “Wake Em Up.” Known for his signature blend of hard-hitting 808s and infectious melodies, Murda Beatz has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Drake, Travis Scott, Cardi B, and Migos.

Rich The Kid, the New York-born, Atlanta-raised rapper famous for his high-energy flow and trap-heavy anthems, brings his signature flashy bravado to the track. From the moment Murda’s iconic tag, “Murda on the beat, so it’s not nice,” drops, the song sets an undeniable tone. Rich The Kid raps about his lavish lifestyle, wealth, and designer brands, riding the beat with confidence.

While the track delivers on vibes, production, and energy, it feels like it’s missing a spark in the chorus and verses. However, hip-hop and trap fans should still give it a listen, as the chemistry between Murda Beatz and Rich The Kid remains undeniable.
