Murda Beatz Drops “Winter’s Over” Featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Hurricane Wisdom

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Murda Beatz got A Boogie Wit da Hoodie to rap like the rent was due in this track.

Murda Beatz is back in his bag, and hip-hop fans need to take notice. Following the release of “Wake Em Up” with Rich The Kid, the hitmaking producer has returned with “Winter’s Over,” a brand-new single featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and rising artist Hurricane Wisdom.

Hurricane Wisdom kicks off the track with an emotionally raw verse, pleading for his woman to see eye to eye with him. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie takes charge of the chorus and a personal verse, touching on trust issues, past felonies, psychedelic experiences, and inner battles. Of course, he still finds time to drop a line about December rendezvous.

Despite Murda Beatz’s reputation for delivering hard-hitting instrumentals, “Winter’s Over” takes a different approach, leaning into a softer, more atmospheric production. The mellow beat evokes images of snowy landscapes, complementing the introspective and melodic flows of both artists. While Hurricane Wisdom brings a hazy, mumble-like delivery, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s slightly irritated tone adds an extra layer of depth to the track.

With “Winter’s Over,” Murda Beatz continues to showcase his versatility as a producer, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie proves he still has plenty to offer in today’s rap game. Is this the start of another hot streak? Press play and decide for yourself!
